EasyWWW – A New Adware Infection
Today we will be talking about EasyWWW, which is both a browser hijacker and an adware program. EasyWWW will run silently in the background where you won’t notice the program, but you will notice its behavior. Internet Explorer vulnerabilities will be exploited in order to flood you with pop-ups. That’s not all it does. EasyWWW can also download and execute applications from the producer of the software, so there is no telling what other adware, spyware, or malware has gotten onto your computer via EasyWWW.
